The NSS team, under the Guidance of Mr. Raajath Naik (Assistant NSS Officer) , Ms.
Akshaya A , Mr. Karthik, Mr. Ravikumar, Mr. Roshan and Mr. Lazarus carried out
Shramadan work in the premises of St. Vanachinappa Shrine at Mylasandra,
Bettadasanapura, Bangalore – 560100 on October 23 rd , 2021, from 9am to 12.45pm.
The team of 45 members including six lecturers, assembled in the college premises by 8.am
and left to Mylansandra by 8.15am after a short prayer led by the Vice Principal of the
college Dr. Vincent A. while Dr. Kumaraswamy, the Dean of arts discipline oriented the team
on Discipline.
The Team reached the shrine at around 8.50 am and began Shramadan work by 9.15 after a
prayer led by Father Antony Swamy. The volunteers cleaned the surroundings of the church
premises which includes the prisbitory, entrance of the church, ground of the church where
the statues describing the stations of the cross are kept. The team took a break at around
11.15 am and they were served refreshments. The team left back to college at around
12.45pm after completing the Shramadan work then and dispersed to their respective homes
after having lunch in the college premises.
