IDF Orientation for I -Year Students

Focusing on the development of Student Leadership the ‘Indian Development Foundation’ (IDF) conducted a one-day orientation for the I-year students on Tuesday, 12 June 2018 at Loyola Higher Primary School Auditorium.

Breaking the monotonous and strangeness among the newcomer students, the IDF conducted the Ice-breading session which paved the way for a day-long orientation.

The organizers covered the various topics according to the needs of the student leadership. Highlighting the importance of communication in today’s scenario, students were given an input session on the communication skills.

Resource persons gave a motivational talk to think outside the box and face the life boldly. The art of public speaking was also given a major importance as it involves a lot of courage, belief, and potential.

The importance of personality development in student’s life was also a prime focus of the orientation. “English is a language which is accepted in all the countries. It is a window to outside world. Hence the communication in English is very important for one’s career,” said the resource person.

A Leader is one who breaks the stereotype and creates own path. The IDF team motivated students to possess a leadership quality and to be an effective leader. The entire program was a big success where students could harness the skills in their life.
